Wired vs. Wireless?

There has been a lot of talk on the new Apple Keyboards as they are now “the thinnest” keyboard on the market. Since they were announced I’ve had my eye on one. I finally went to the local store to play with one before purchase. They look extremely sleek and one of my favorite characteristics are the keys. Not that they are spaced apart similar to the newer macbook’s but that there is practically no room for dust particles to get underneath the keys. I love the now older model except for the dust getting under my keys. With the clear base you can see it build up. I often clean my keyboard as I am a very picky about having a clean setup but it’s difficult removing all dust and personally I don’t find it that attractive when you can see some funkiness in there.

The real question here is which of the new keyboards will you get? I for one am looking for a wireless keyboard however, I was extremely disappointed to see that their was no number pad on the wireless version. What’s up with that? Yeah, the new shortcut keys are great but I actually find myself using the keypad often. I’m able to type numbers so fast utilizing the number pad. I’m sorry to see it leave. I’m sure Apple will at some point release a version of the wireless keyboard with the number pad but until then I think I’m going to hold off and wait a little just to find out. Hopefully the temptation doesn’t win first!

Hey Apple fans out there, what’s your take on the two options? Which will you purchase?
