Awesome Mac Setups: A Tribute
September 27th, 2007 | Apple, Personal, WorkflowThe day is almost near. I begin moving in to my new apartment this weekend and I am very excited because once I move in I will be purchasing a 30″ Dell display to bring my work station close to completion. I’ve been loving my new Mac Pro and it’s literally a beast. It is however waiting for a larger display because the 20″ is just not cutting it. Once my setup is complete I will post pictures here at toonice4TV and on my flickr account. As I get ready to pack up my machine before the move I wanted to pay tribute to my favorite Mac setups that have inspired me to have a great looking work area.
OK…before we get to the setups I wanted to state that my criteria for selection is based on a number of things ranging from cleanliness and organization, desk choice and of course the “cool” factor! Note that these are in no particular order. Here we go!

Ok, this setup posted on flickr by visualseed is just insane. His workstation is ideal as a digital photographer and has some amazing photographs.

Paul Stamatiou has a nice clean simple setup. I’m an avid reader of his blog and his review about the Dell 30″ sold me.

I love the symmetry of this setup. I’m not really sure how you work in that chair but the desk area is great. Kihlbom also has an awesome loft area.

Glenn Wolsey has a great blog and I share his love for Apple and a clean work area. I’m looking for a unique lighting station similar to this.

I like Tony Eckersley’s setup mainly because I like the surface of his desk and photography above. Can’t believe this is a college setup!

Barry is the my hesitation for not just buying one more 20″ vs. going with the 30. Love the dedication with the apple canvas.

This setup by m2j2 is just wild. I chose this not because of the monitors but the office as a whole is just sick!

Ethan Kaplan setup inspires me to have 3 monitors one day. For some reason the way the displays arch creates a great work station.
OK OK OK! That’s it for now. These are my favorite setups thus far. Does your setup beat these? If you think so send me a picture of your rig and I’ll feature it here on my blog. Stay tuned for my new machine!
