Jango Is Now Open To The Public
November 18th, 2007 | How-To, OnlineEarlier in October I wrote a post about Jango, the social internet radio service. Well, it is officially available to the public. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Jango you can read my post here. It’s not as visited as Pandora but it has grown to 70,000 members with 600,000 stations. I had been using the beta and have been an avid listener while at work. Now that it’s officially live there are some new features that are pretty cool.
Now, Jango lets you share. Send any song you hear to anyone, even if they are not signed up to Jango yet. Just click “share” to email a link to the song you’re listening to. Another new feature is that of seeing “more songs”. When you’re on any artist page you can click more songs and you’ll see all the new music that has been added for that artist.

Here is a close up of the share feature which I think we’ll be pretty cool as I share a lot of music with my friends.
