As you can tell by the title and my most “recent” post I’ve been slacking. I haven’t written much in a while although I have tons I need to write about. The last month or so has been extremely busy both personally and with the company. I wanted to give a little recap on what’s been going and what types of articles you can expect to be coming. My near future holds a lot of excitement…a move across the country, simplified living, selling some toys and of course some new ones. In 19 days…

I will be heading west to Denver, Colorado. Most of our company will be relocating to the same office as our Technology team which is located on the Platte River in downtown Denver. It’s an amazing location and you’ll get to see plenty of pictures of both my drive and my new home, Denver, Colorado.

Kind of on the same note, with the big move ahead I’ve decided to sell many of my personal belongings to travel as light as possible. This includes some of my favorite tech toys like my Quad Core MacPro, which was a beast. I will truly miss this powerful machine but my MacBook Pro will suffice for a while. I’m in the process of selling my Dell 30″ Display as well. As of recent I’ve been connecting my MBP to it and it’s been great but I just don’t need it right now. I’ve sold most of my furniture and plan on getting all new stuff when I arrive in Denver. Pictures to come of the new apartment as well!

Well, I’m sure you’re curious as to what new toys I picked up. We’ll seeing as how I’m driving across country I picked up a a TomTom GPS unit. I’ve only used it once so far and will actually have to use it tonight. I plan on writing a review upon my arrival in Denver after I’ve put it to better use.

Moving on I just recently picked up an iPhone 3G. So far the phone is great. It has a lot of awesome features, however, I have the same complaint I had when I first tried the first version courtesy of my previous company. Hopefully, Denver is better but the service here in CT is nothing to brag about. I lose calls all the time. The battery is not very reasonable unless you keep the 3G and bluetooth off. You’ll see a full review of the 3G iPhone soon compared to my original review of the first version of the iPhone.

Well, now for my favorite new toy. This toy is definitely techy but not similar to the normal type of technology I have discussed on toonice4TV. I am an avid road biker and used to race my mountain bike in high school and college. I haven’t ridden in a while but with my move to Colorado I want to get back into racing so I got a new mountain bike.

I road my new Cannondale Rise 3 today for the first time and it was amazing. The Lefty fork and rear fox suspension make for an amazing ride. As I get a few more rides in I will be giving a more detailed on the bike from suspension to disc brakes to how it handles the trails.

So, sorry for the lack of blogging but I hope to have some upcoming posts, reviews and pictures to make for a good read.
